VIDEO SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
GTM Luxury 2026 Video Application Submission
Congratulations on making it this far in the GTM Luxury application process. The next step is to record and submit a video describing your main goals in attending GTM Luxury. Our video platform is simple to use. Please follow the below steps in order to submit your video.
Before you Record:
Device: Our video platform, OpenReel, is accessible on desktop and mobile. If you experience any technical issues, please contact Cat Brask at cbrask@travelweekly.com.
Desktop: We recommend using the most updated version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser to access our video platform and record your video. The functionality of Safari and Firefox is limited.
Mobile: We recommend downloading the Creator app by OpenReel to record on your mobile device. You can download it at these links (iOS and Android) ahead of time. Alternatively, you will be prompted to download and record in the app when accessing the recording link. Recording on your mobile device browser can cause timeouts during upload resulting in your video not being submitted.
Video Length: The maximum allowed video length is 5 minutes. You do not need to use all the allotted time. Most applicants submit videos between 2-3 minutes in length. The recording will cut off at 5 minutes and upload your video. You can record and delete your video as many times as you’d like. So don’t stress about getting it perfect in the first take!
Preparation: You can prepare in whichever way makes you most comfortable. If you’d like to write a script, you’re welcome to. If you prefer to speak off the cuff, go for it! Please take some time to review the prompt before submitting your video.

Why did you apply for GTM Luxury? What goal or goals do you hope to achieve by participating in this event? What do you hope to walk away with after attending GTM Luxury?
Follow these steps to record your video:
Enter your first and last name
Be sure to use the same exact name you used when submitting your application so we can match the video to the proper applicant.
Agree to the Terms of Service
Select Continue
Allow for OpenReel to access your device’s camera and microphone
Record your video
The prompt will appear on the left-hand side of the screen.
You will see an outline of where you should position yourself in the frame. If the overlay is distracting, click the “hide overlay” button along the bottom to remove it.
Click the “question” button along the bottom of the frame if you’d like to see the question displayed along the top of the screen.
When you are ready to record, click the “start recording” button.
When you are finished, press stop recording. Your video will upload and appear on the screen for you to review. You can select “retake video” and re-record. When you are satisfied with your recording, click “finish and complete” on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
You will see the below screen when your video has been successfully uploaded.
Once your video has been reviewed, you will be contacted via e-mail regarding the status of your application.
